Professional Development of Environmental Educators workshop - Fall 2025

This workshop consists of two virtual meetings along with pre-work and work in between the sessions. Virtual meetings are on both Thursday, August 28 and Tuesday, September 2, 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Participants must attend both sessions. Registrants will receive NAAEE's Guidelines for Excellence: Professional Development of Environmental Educators publication along with any other workshop materials via postal mail.

Registration Deadline: Friday, August 22, 12:00 pm (noon)

Registration Availability: Registration is available to ONLY enrolled Virginia Environmental Education Certification Program Candidates.

Please note: We will be using Google Drive to house workshop materials. If you do not have access to Google Drive both on your own time and during the workshop Zoom meetings, please contact the Certification Administrator as soon as possible to arrange an alternative way to receive materials.

This workshop is a requirement in the Virginia Environmental Education Certification Program, Criteria 2.1. This workshop is a prerequisite for Program candidates to attend the Methods of Teaching Environmental Education workshop, Criteria 2.2.
